A More Human Way of Living

Forest Salud is a private hospitality and lifestyle practice rooted in food, movement, open water, and life close to nature.

Through private experiences, retreats, sailing, movement, and thoughtful hospitality, it creates environments that help people feel more nourished, capable, connected, and fully present.

Food Is the Entry Point.
Hospitality Is the Experience.
Movement Is the Philosophy Beneath It All.

Forest Salud grew from the understanding that the things that help people feel well are rarely isolated.

Food affects energy. Movement changes how the body meets the day. Place shapes pace.
Hospitality influences whether people feel guarded or able to settle.

Rather than separating these elements, Forest Salud brings them together through deeply personal experiences
shaped around the people, the setting, and the way life is meant to feel within it.

NouriSHMent extenDS far beyond WHAT is on THe pLATe.

It lives in atmosphere. In pacing. In conversation. In movement. In the feeling of being welcomed into a space where nothing feels rushed and everything feels considered.

Luxury is a beautifully prepared meal after a day on the water. It is movement that leaves the body feeling strong and grounded. It is thoughtful hospitality that allows people to fully arrive in the moment they are in. There is an ease to experiences that are designed with real care.

Forest Salud exists to create those environments.

The Four Expressions of Forest Salud

Private Hospitality and Chef Experiences

Thoughtful hospitality rooted in nourishment.

Forest Salud creates seasonal, Mediterranean-inspired private chef experiences for residences, yachts, retreats, gatherings, and extended stays.

The food is only one part of the experience. Atmosphere, pacing, sourcing, discretion, and the feeling of being genuinely cared for are considered alongside every menu.

Movement and Embodied Living

A calmer, stronger relationship with the body.

Movement within Forest Salud supports physical confidence, mobility, resilience, recovery, and a more capable relationship with daily life.

The work may include private sessions, functional strength, mobility, natural movement, recovery practices, and movement experiences integrated into retreats or hospitality settings.

This is where Forest Fitness becomes the dedicated expression of the movement philosophy.

Open-Water and Sailing Experiences

Life between land and sea.

Forest Salud’s open-water experiences bring together sailing, food, movement, atmosphere, and a closer relationship with the natural world.

These may take the form of yacht hospitality, private sailing experiences, coastal culinary journeys, multi-day retreats, or seasonal residencies shaped around life at sea.

The sea is not simply the setting. It changes the rhythm of the experience itself.

Retreats and Gatherings

Shared nourishment, atmosphere, and connection.

Forest Salud creates small-scale retreats and gatherings shaped by food, movement, nature, and thoughtful pacing.

Each experience is intentionally personal, whether it is a coastal retreat, a hosted dinner, a movement-led weekend, or a private group immersion.

The goal is not to fill the schedule. It is to create the conditions for people to feel grounded, connected, and fully present.

Meet samuel

London raised, Samuel became a professional sailor at twenty and spent years moving between Mediterranean coastlines, harbours, markets, yacht galleys, and professional kitchens.

Life at sea taught him that food is never separate from place. Weather, movement, season, and setting all influence the way people eat, gather, and feel.

Today, Samuel’s work brings together food, movement, atmosphere, and hospitality through experiences designed to help people feel more grounded, connected, and deeply taken care of.

  • ‘’Samuel was responsible for running a busy kitchen, maintaining high standards of our food, training new chefs, and taking care of the ordering. Samuel is a very talented and natural chef with a great palate and a calm and considered style of cooking. ’’
